7. TV in 1980’s
80’s was the decade of TV shows and MTV. Before YouTube, the popularity of a music video was measured by a number of times, MTV used to play a song. For countries like India, 80’s was the decade when colour TV first made its entry. However globally, 80’s was the decade when TV shows started gaining mass populism. Shows like Baywatch, The Wonder Years, Miami Vice, Mahabharat (Hindi), Rangoli (Hindi) attained cult status and craze and fanaticism for these shows cannot even be compared to our times.

8. 80’s slangs
Well, the 80s was the decade when plenty of slangs were invented and became
popular but they aren’t just cool anymore. Few slang samples below:
