A number of people think being tall is something great and of course, it is. However, it’s not like their life is all creamy and they don’t face issues. There are a number of annoying problems that tall people have to deal with on a daily basis. Like for an individual with average height, sleeping on the bed is a wonderful experience. Now for someone who’s 6’8″, things escalate pretty quickly and problems like feet hanging out of bed are common. And even then the same old sarcasm like “what’s the weather up there?” won’t let you live in peace. So all you tall people out there, see if this is exactly what you face.
We understand how hard it is for you to give and get hugs. It includes too much bending sometimes.
2. Your Reach
People won’t stop asking you to reach for things.
You do find your head cut off from some photos, don’t you? Well, it’s alright. Next time, tell that photographer to take a wide angle shot.
Bathroom mirrors are not designed for you. I mean what’s the whole point of a mirror when all you see is your chest?
It is always scary. Be it the bus you take that has a short ceiling or the airplane journey which is a nightmare for your legs, you’re the victim.
What’s the point of getting a sleep when your feet keep hanging out of the bed?
Okay, let’s get this straight. Car companies are somewhat biased against you guys. Who’d tell them to provide more leg and head space?
Usual bathtubs are not for your use. You wouldn’t fit in it anyway. Also, you can’t take showers as well because you my friend, have surpassed the height of that tiny round water throwing thing.
The most frustrating place for tall people is a shoe store. All the cool shoes they have their eyes on wouldn’t fit them anyway. Sad.
The most crucial part is to find a life partner who could relate to your problems exactly in the same manner. Or simply, to find a proportional partner.
You know everyone hates you at the concerts and public events. I mean not everyone, but the people standing right behind you are very annoyed. You just wouldn’t let them see!
12. Low Ceilings
You must have been in a room where the ceiling is too low. And then the game of bending the neck starts that offers nothing but pain.
