Lead singer of Queen band, Freddi Mercury will always be in our hearts for his beautiful songs. After the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, he was on news once again and teenage people who never listened to his songs actually realized how amazing a singer he was. Meet Mary Austin, the only and true love of Freddie Mercury.
She was 19 when she first met Freddie.
They met each other in 1970. While Freddie had man relationships but he was always open to saying that Mary was the only person she loved a lot.
Their relationship ended when Freddie found the truth about his s3xuality.
Though they broke up they were best friends till the day Freddie lived.
In an interview when Freddie was asked if his new lovers can replace Mary, he replied saying it’s impossible.
“Our bond is something that nobody can take away from us. It’s unreachable.” Freddie once said.
Mary got married and gave birth to two children while Freddie was going through the toughest phase of his life.
When Freddie was diagnosed with HIV, Mary was always there for the support.
Once Freddie died, things didn’t happen very well with Mary either.
After his death, she suffered from illness and stress.
Mary confessed that in his last days, Freddie was very generous to his band members but they didn’t appreciate what Freddie had left for them.
They lived together for 20 years under the same roof and she says that her song still reminds her of him.
These two emotional pair enjoyed and suffered a fair share in their relationship.
It’s rare to see soulmates like Mary and Freddie. It’s sad that they couldn’t be together.
