4. Big Dipper (2).
What’s with disasters and Big Dipper! In 1930 yet another “Big Dipper” crushed four people to death. In Nebraska’s Krug Park, a brake malfunction resulted in the car dropping from 35 feet above ground. 19 more people were injured and four crushed to death instantly.
5. Cyclone.
I don’t know why, but this name always makes me a little sick in my stomach. Built on Coney Island in 1927, this has had quite the disaster scandal itself. In 1985, a man for god knows what reason stood up from his seat mid-ride only to get his head fatally smacked on a crossbeam.
6. Rough Riders.
Whoa, Coney Island returns (Um, as a prequel!). Okay, so before the World Famous Cyclone, we had Rough Riders in 1915. One day, it just decided to flip over and send three riders to their grave. Wanna know what was the ride called before it got famous as Rough Riders? Drop-The-Dip. Spooky isn’t it?
