9. Megara, “Hercules”
The Disney princesses might’ve saved Princes and Emperors, but this human heroine, saved a Greek God! Hercules. Megara, the fast talking, no nonsense heroine teaches us that nothing in the world can keep a girl down. If you are in problem, know this, that you will have it sorted by yourself, you don’t need a man(or a Greek God) to get you of trouble, you are capable enough of doing it yourself; “I’m a damsel, I’m in distress, I can handle this.”
10. Ariel, “The Little Mermaid”
Even if You are the daughter of the Sea-God, you are allowed to follow your own free will, despite of what your father might think or say. You can have your adventures, and you can explore the world on your own terms, this is what the little Disney mermaid taught us. Ariel refused to limit herself based on what others expected from her, that adventurous spirit and desire to explore is something we can all channel.
