  1. You can make a difference

Game of Thrones does not lack  strong characters, but some of them didn’t start out that way. Daenerys, for example, was once a meek girl, controlled by her arrogant brother. Four seasons later, she’s a queen who has released thousands of slaves and has taken a step against human slavery. If you care passionately about something, but you feel like you’re just one person who can’t make a difference, think again. Take a leaf from Daenerys’s book. Be strong and take a step, and with enough passion, you can make a difference.

  1. Treat every day like it’s your last

Little finger (Peter Baelish), may be a notorious and slightly sleazy character, but he said something this season that really stuck with me: “Everybody dies sooner or later. And don’t worry about your death. Worry about your life. Take charge of your life for as long as it lasts.” What a great quote that reminds us to always take life by its horns. You go, Little finger!
