As per the sources filming of the prequel is happing in the familiar locations. The filming is happing in Northern Ireland, where all the Game Of Thrones eight seasons is filmed. It is not mentioned whether the shooting will be continued in other countries or not.
This new series is not named yet. But the series is written by Jane Goldman, and it also brings author George R.R. Martin and Jessica Jones’ director S.J. Clarkson.
Naomi Watts, Oscar nominee, confirmed her role in the series. Richardson, Oscar-nominated actress recently gave some hints to a source about the expectations from the prequel. She said that the base team has not changed, but the content and the story is entirely different. She also adds that she is very excited to be a part of this new series.
