In order to regulate the market order of show business in China and purify the market environment, it was decided that performers of inappropriate behavior will not be welcomed.”
China has previously banned many foreign performers and artist for various reasons. They banned Icelandic pop queen Bjork after calling for Tibetan independence during a gig in Shanghai back in 2008. Oasis and Maroon 5 were also banned when they showed support for Tibet.
