Her parents claim that it took only one night of hard work, sweat, determination, love and $100 to make their daughter a wheelchair which wouldn’t make her feel any less than others or crippled. Meanwhile, they plan to save money for the larger wheelchair in Evelyn’s future that will cost thousands.
Eveylen’s parents describe her as a fast learner. Though at first, it was confusing and difficult for her to grasp the whole concept of driving around the wheelchair instead of making herself to walk on two feet. At 13months she was driving the wheelchair along with that she was also driving her parents insane.
