5. Consider the worst thing that could happen.
Anxiety can be mind consuming. To get over it, you should just realize whatever is actually bothering you & what is the worst possible thing that it could lead to. It won’t be that bad & it will help you get a better insight about how you’ll deal with the situation if the worst thing actually happens.
6. Breathe deeply.
Anxiety quickens your breathing & thus reduces the amount of oxygen that your brain gets which makes it difficult to think clearly. Focus on taking deep belly breaths in such situations for a few minutes. This will quickly calm your nerves.
7. Read “The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment” by Eckhart Tolle.
It is one of best books that can help you in dealing with fear, nervousness, depression or any other negative feeling. The book is a realization about how our obsession with the past & the future prevents us from giving our full attention to the present moment & live our life in a better way.
