During her Birthday celebrations in 1981, a teenager named Marcus Sarjeant blank shot at her 6 times. He was idolizing assassinations of John F. Kennedy and John Lennon. He later spent three years in a psychiatric prison. While he was being arrested, Queen calmed her horse down and continued with the parade.
