  1. Not all-rounders, pretty much shitty at other things

“I work at Dunkin Donuts. What sucks to make? Hash browns, when they have to be made fresh (anytime after noon, pretty much). What should you not order? Any of the meat. It’s not that it’s not preserved or anything, it’s just utterly disgusting. Please don’t eat it. We make donuts, coffee, and bagels. I wouldn’t recommend much else.”

  1. Eating bacon cooked that same day doesn’t bother me much. You slopping mop water on it does

“Worked at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. Yeah! that bacon we make at 10 am before opening is the same bacon served at 6pm when you come in for dinner….. we also kept it on a low shelf (maybe just my location) so many times. When we were cleaning the floor or mopping, the bacon would get covered with floor water.”

  1. Even the Lord of Time would be amazed at level of oldness maintained

“Worked at KFC for 3 years. That amazing gravy you get? Sometimes it’s brilliant, made from old cooked chicken. Most times? Cheap ass gravy granules. Look like shit, taste like shit. Also beans or corn, usually very very old. The timestamps were just changed every time one was coming to the end. Also, don’t go for the popcorn chicken unless at rush times as it can sit there for hours.”

  1. The restaurant selling 49% crap

“The peppered chicken at Tumbleweed. I used to work in the kitchen and out of all the fake processed food, it was the most disgusting. It came pre-shredded and frozen in a vacuum seal that we let sour in a vat full of hot water to warm it up until we needed it. Then we had to literally for 5 minutes to break it all up before we could use it. It was always covered with some gelatinous material. We asked the store manager “how can we legally call this chicken? It’s fuckin gross” abs his reply was an awkward chuckle followed by ” because it’s 51% chicken.”
