The Philippines is known to have different burial traditions. The Igorot tribe of Mountain Province in the Philippines has the creepy cemeteries of Hanging Coffins of Sagada. This was intended to prevent animals from eating the corpses and to keep headhunters from rival tribes away. So, the Igorot people nailed their coffins into the sides of mountains.
5. Greyfriars Kirkyard, Edinburgh
This is one of the creepy cemeteries from where many names were derived from the Harry Potter books. The Greyfriars Kirkyard is a haunted cemetery in Edinburgh, Scotland. This place is also famous for the story of Greyfriars Bobby, a dog that guarded his deceased master’s grave for 13 years till it died himself.
