4) There is a place for your life partner in your future plans.
If you’re planning to stay in the long run, you’d have to make sure that you two fit into each other’s plans. Your decisions should not affect your partner negatively and the vice-versa holds true as well. Relationship demands to be self-less. If you’ve got the guts to commit and sacrifice when needed, you’ve got it all what it takes to be the soulmates.
5) Fights *should* happen!
Sounds like an irony… no?? But it is true indeed. By fights, we don’t mean the ugly, illogical and unnecessary ones. We mean the logical arguments to dig out the best solutions for your problems. Even while having those serious sessions of disagreement, you should never say things to intentionally hurt your life partner. Don’t give him/her the silent treatment. Instead of that, better talk, discuss and mutually agree to something that works for both of you.
