It’s hard to believe someone saying he has never heard about The Avengers – a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books by Stan Lee (published in 1963); was later directed by the Marvel studios as an R rating film in the US. The Avengers hit theater worldwide in 2012 turning to be the highest grossing Disney film and became every superhero lover’s dream. The team of Avengers’ comprises of heart throbbing characters; bringing together Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Though you may have the slightest idea about The Avengers, there are still some super fans of Avengers who might not even know these really cool facts about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
1. Iron Man’s Armour comprise of Roller-skates
Iron Man’s Armour was made up of rocket propelled roller skates that pop out of his shoes on command – although it had zero use apart from challenging Scott Baio to race on Battle of the Network Stars. This idea of using roller skates was quite a flattering one as back in those days roller skates started a new craze. Thus, the concept of roller skates was cash-in for Marvel.
2. J.A.R.V.I.S. is not an AI
In the comic books, Jarvis was a champion Boxer and fought WWII. After boxing, Jarvis decided to move the US and served started serving to the Stark. Most of the super fans will know that Jarvis was not AI but the loyal robot-butler Tony Stark’s. To your surprise, Jarvis was actually a human at one point formally known as Edwin Jarvis.
3. Captain America had his own cargo cult
Back in the 90’s Marvel comic mentioned about Captain America trapped in the Arctic Ice for hours during WWII. This animation incident was directed in his movie, but the movie left detail from Marvel comics was Captain America’s frost-bound body was worshiped by the Inuits.
4. Hulk was originally Gray
The Hulk was originally decided to be introduced as gray colored. But he was all painted in green due to the fact that green was the easier color to print compared to the gray color.
