- No kinship beats these three unlikely friends…
We have all seen these adorable and unusual friendships between animals. From dogs and elephants and even pigeons to foxes and cats. This does not stop here if you haven’t seen that of a giraffe and ostrich. Although, nothing comes close to seeing these three unlikely friends an American black bear, an African lion, and a Bengal tiger living together in harmony. This unusual kinship really takes some beating.
2. They get along like brothers and are absolutely inseparable.
In the beginning, they were living terribly. But now, they are at peace living together in harmony. The bear, lion and the tiger namely, Baloo, Leo, and Shere Khan has spent the 15 years of their life together. They now reside in the wild together euphorically. They have spent there joyous moments in the past year up till now at Noah’s Ark animal shelter in Georgia.
3. The trio is popularly known as BLT.
The three adorable fuzzballs were rescued back in 2001. The police found them in a house basement in Atlanta during a drug raid. Their condition was terrible at the time of rescue. Baloo underwent surgery to get the ingrowing harness removed. Besides that one point, the trio was never apart. They spent each day happily together after.
4. They were severely injured at the time of the rescue.
It was hard for them to heal and return to the wild. But look at them now, they are far more happy to be living together at the sanctuary. All three of them belong to different continents. This makes there bond even more special for they may not have met otherwise in the wild.
5. Despite the difference, they get along very well.
The trio is absolutely inseparable.
