There are plenty of reasons why people do not want to stay in hospitals and one of the reason is hospital foods. The notion is that hospital foods are always as bad as they have to be healthy. And healthy doesn’t always taste good until cooked right. While this is true for some hospitals but not for every place in the world. This list will shock you with a mixture of delicious and not-so-delicious food items.

Cheeseburger with fries. What else does an ailing patient would want in the morning?
2. Sydney, Australia
A very healthy yet tasty menu. Pumpkin soup, apricot chicken with peas and mashed potatoes.
3. Poland
Well, those are the kinds of hospital foods people are afraid of. It’s just bread with butter, cucumber, and some weird looking sausage.
4. Richmond, Canada
Doesn’t look tasty to me but let me tell you the menu. This hospital serves sweet and sour pork, bok choy, with a side dish honeydew melon.
5. Huddinge, Sweden
Rice, pulses and apparently chicken with an orange. No patient is going to get healthier anytime soon with that food.
6. Paris, France
Now, this looks like some buffet menu. They have tried to keep their hospital foods as tasty and as normal as possible. A fish starter, chicken and courgette main, salad, bread and a slice of cake as dessert.
7. Malaysia
Roasted chicken, noodles and coffee. What could be a better Sunday brunch?
8. Chennai, India
You are even given an option to choose between Indian and Chinese. The bottom is chapatis with your choice of curry and on the top is fried rice with a side dish.
9. Dubai, UAE
They are always extravagant in everything. Pasta, soup, noodles, broccoli, bread, cake. You name it and you have it.
10. Japan
There is a lot of items and seriously I don’t know all the names. But it’s a bento box with vegetables, fish, meat, tempura, noodles, etc.
