7. Hannibal crossing the Alps.

Hannibal created (or changed) history while crossing the Alps, with his 38,000 troops, he intended to inform the others he was safe, and he rammed his cane deep into the snow which triggered an avalanche!(oops Hannibal!). The avalanche killed 18,000 of his men and  2,000 horses and tons of elephants.

8. Berlin Wall

You might want to revise your notes before you speak in a press conference, or else you too might end up bringing another wall down. In 1989, East German Politician Gunter Schwabowski held a press conference explaining minor revisions on his travel code, he unfortunately implied that the restrictions were off. The result? Well the Berlin Wall came down as the travelers swarmed in demanding passage.

9. Forgotten Time zones which changed the history

The 1961 Cuba invasion was a total disaster because the Pentagon neglected to take the time difference between Nicaragua and Cuba into account (What!). The attacked was to pronged, ground troops, and Air troops, but unfortunately the fighter jets arrived an hour late.
