According to The New York post she said, “They’re showing a bucket that’s overflowing with chicken, You get half a bucket! That’s false advertising and it doesn’t feed the whole family. They’re small pieces!”
Clearly she was pissed, since the bucket did not actually “feed the whole family”. She called up the headquarters to report the incident, what she received from the other end fueled up rage to such an extent that sued KFC. They told her that the overflowing bucket was to show the chicken to the public.
Though the KFC menu states that there would be 8 pieces of chicken, it is not advertised. Hence she finds it “misleading”.
According to The New York post, the company had offered the woman two gift certificates, but she returned them back.
