10. Buried Alive.
Premature burial or vivisepulture means to be-be buried while still alive. This is one the scariest phobias ever recorded. And yes, this is no heroic stunt performance and nothing to be fascinated about. You’re trapped inside a dark coffin, with nothing but deafening silence around. It doesn’t matter whether you panic about it or not because eventually you’re gonna run out oxygen and die from asphyxiation. Probably one of the worst ways to go up!
11. Drowning.
For those of you wondering, whether death by drowning is a painful process or not, it definitely is. It is not painful after the person is unconscious, but the desperate struggle to breathe before unconsciousness is the most painful time ever. The victim tries to hold his breath but fails to hold it in for a long period of time due to an involuntary reflex, resulting in panic and increased body movements which use up more oxygen and makes the victim tired. The water gushes in from the mouth sealing off the air passage and enters the stomach initially, then fills up the lungs increasing the body weight. Once the victim passes out, the body sinks.
12. Getting eaten by a python or anaconda.
Trust me, this is as scary as it is shown in the movies. Python and boa, like to give their prey a deadly “hug” that is, they rely on constriction for the actual kill. They squeeze the victim in such a way that he cannot breathe, and every time it tries to breathe it squeezes in more harder. And finally, after hearing your own bones breaking, you die of cardiac arrest. Definitely one of the worst ways to die!
