Time flies right? Do you remember pigeons flying out letters to each other or see post cards? Obviously no! You at least remember these things now but don’t worry within some time with generations passing away people are going to forget most of them things within 10 years or so. Until we remember them let’s make a list for the future generations who will probably think what we used were from the savage time.
1. Printing out directions instead of just giving them a quick Google:
Seriously! I can’t even imagine printing this kind of things being done but our elders did these things so I guess at least I know this, after 10 years maybe no one would even remember it.
2. T9 alphabet.
Those non-smartphone days, aah! clicking a button thrice and 4 times for S and Z. But still, at those times the phone was taken out for a call and then kept it again in from where it came back unlike today we have a call for 2 minutes and waste 20 minutes doing something that has no logic.
3. Dial-Up Internet. 😱😱😱
Setting that up was in itself a horror.
And then after this, there are a hundred attempts of redial and when it was finally connected, it felt like heaven.
4. Internet Speeds.
LoL! Even my kid would become my age and then the file would be downloaded. At those times 180 MB was today’s 2 TB! Most people have already forgotten this internet speed. Though after 10 years also this file would not be downloaded so many we will not forget it completely after all.
5. Choosing a cell phone plan based on “free weekends”
Damn! I did forget this now only.
6. Phone Size was giant.
So big as well as non-efficient. Even your hands started to pain while holding them.
7. I had wasted too much prepaid balance accidentally pressing that button!
These luxury things were not made for me. I think it was the pre planning of the mobile operators and the manufacturers to gain some money from us.
8. Having your pockets full of expensive machinery.
And another different one for taking a look at the time called watch because your phone isn’t that smart after all.
9. Having to manually shut down to avoid tragedy.
I’m sure with windows 10 the latest one in the market people has definitely forgotten manually watching the shutdown screen.
10. The “roller coaster”
These kinds of rolling things would surely be extinct in 10 years. Even, probably those which exist now are only antiques.
11. Mouse Ball.
Most of us now use the wireless mouses or the optical ones and the laptop touch pads. I did forget this rolling mouse ball until now.
12. Burning or Purchasing CDs for the car music player.
And then if there’s a scratch all the music in it got screwed up.
While writing it I thought what a savage would I lived in past. I did forget some of them surely already and within 10 years these mentioned will also be erased from existence.
