1. They Sacrificed Humans To Please Their Dieties.
One astonishing fact about the Mayan culture was that they were known to conduct rituals in which human sacrifices would be made to please their gods. One of the methods of execution was cutting the heart out. The victims were usually prisoners of war or slaves.
2. Cross Eyed Babies.
Cross eyed babies was another astonishing but desirable trait among the nobels in the Mayan culture. Objects were often dangled on front of the child until he was cross eyed.
3. They Did Not Use Metals As Weapons.
