Soon after that, Becky Szenk found a company owned by a man named Lee Green. Becky Szenk said that the company’s profile and its website looked absolutely legit. She also contacted to Lee Green and spoke to him on call. After a few negotiations, she decided to hire Lee Green’s company. A day was scheduled for Lee Green’s men to come and help them move their house. However, when they actually came to their house, the things took a different turn altogether.
All the men quickly and efficiently moved all the goods in just 45 minutes. The couple was absolutely impressed with their efforts. They were satisfied with the service they got from a mere Facebook Post. Everything seemed fine. When the couple commented on how fast their work was, the men said that their day is packed with other jobs and everything needs to be done quickly and efficiently. However, as it turned out, the case was completely different.
The couple realised that something was fishy when the men did not arrive at the pub they own post an hour they left. Yes, you guessed it right. Lee Green’s company was a scam. It was not a legit company. Its aim was to steal customer’s money and their personal goods. In just an hour, Mark and Becky had lost everything.
They had just started a pub named Horse and Jockey. The hoped that their new business would turn out to be a huge success. However, the post being left with nothing, the couple had no other option but to rely on donations from complete strangers. They somehow managed to stick together and save their pub.
