Hey, Harry Potter fans and those who are called nerds because they read the books! You are getting two new Harry Potter books this year!! It’s a lot to celebrate about since the last book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was supposed to be the end of the series. But now since J K Rowling has come up with another part to this adventure series we all should be celebrating.
This is at the time of the 20th anniversary of the beloved books series of all times that this will we released. The first book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone was released 20 years back. Still, many of us read it again and again.
The new books from the wizarding world come six years after the final film and ten years after the publication of the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
First up, we’re lucky to be getting Harry Potter: A Journey Through the History of Magic.
This is reportedly “packed with unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling, magical illustrations from Jim Kay and weird, wonderful and inspiring artifacts that have been magically released from the archives at the British Library.”
Isn’t it awesome! We have always wondered what was the back story and origin of magic in Hogwarts and this is one of the books that are gonna tell us how it all happened. And how we all came to be known as muggles and people at Hogwarts not.
Secondly, we’re getting Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
Which “promises to take readers on a fascinating journey through the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry – from Alchemy and Potions classes through to Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures.”
I have always been curious to know about the courses of Hogwarts and the things that were shown not us. After Professor Dolores Umbridge took charge of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix and banned many subjects, it has been my constant search to know what she actually banned there as a subject.
Last part of the series The Cursed Child was the continuation of the story, unlike these new parts which will be the back story or say non-fiction.
Mark the dates everyone 20th October. Harry Potter is coming!!!
If you were feeling nerdy about the books or movies, that makes two of us.😉
