I love life hacks. They are my way of doing stuff up faster than normal human beings. And then considering most of us as the laziest people on the planet we need more and more hacks to live happily. Even if the specific hack isn’t applicable to my own life, I just love the little bits of cleverness that people come up with. The “why didn’t I think of that?” feeling is a tiny happy boost in a long hard day.
So, here we discuss some of the hacks for the laziest slackers:
1. Freezy Juice.
I can still hear my dad’s annoyed yell every time he discovered the scissors were glued shut by dried freezy juice. Prevent that by using the freezer’s wire shelf to hold freezies upright.
2. Use a zip tie as a handle in a pinch.
This person went to get clean clothes from the dryer but got the handle instead. No worries! Attach ties to two of the holes and then another tie between them.
3. Use chopsticks to keep fingers clean while snacking.
Well, Japan has been centuries ahead of us as the laziest country.
4. Use clothes hangers as a tablet mount.
This is something I’m gonna definitely gonna use daily from now on. Just hope it doesn’t fall off on my face.
5. No spoons? No problem!
This is a common problem in the office kitchen. There are a billion forks, but not a clean spoon to be found. In a pinch, you can wrap some tape around the tines of a fork.
6. No Pins would get lost now!
And yet, I can never find one when I actually need one. Thankfully, they are their own organizer. Just use one pin as a holder for the rest.
7. That hack!
I’m not condoning cheating, but if you’re going to do it, do it right. This guy wrote his answers on the back of a water bottle label. Not even the smartest of people are gonna check it or even doubt it!
8. Nail polish is perfect for telling similar keys apart.
Just paint a different color on each of the mystery keys. If you need even more help remembering, you can add a dot of the same polish to the lock the key matches.
9. Tickets on your phone are awesome until there’s no signal.
Prepare for the worst by taking a screenshot of the tickets. That way if the email or app won’t load, you have a back-up.
10. Use a walnut to repair scratches on wood.
It won’t fill in the grooves, but it will make the marks way less visible. Perfect for when your kid is still learning not to scratch.
11. Ear sweat issues are a thing of the past.
Some earbud brands are super smooth. That’s usually okay, but when working out, the sweat can cause them to slip out. A bit of hockey tape solves that problem.
12. Use a Styrofoam cup to diffuse your phone flashlight.
If the power is out, you can use this trick to illuminate a room while keeping your hands free for other tasks.
All of these hacks are steps to becoming lazier and join the group of people who are laziest slackers on the planet. These hacks are pretty amazing even if you aren’t lazy enough as at least it decreases your work and that’s what everyone likes.
