9. Gram flour
Gram flour is a natural ingredient that can cleanse and exfoliate skin. It also makes skin smooth and lighter.
a) Prepare a paste of 3 teaspoons of gram flour powder and 2 tablespoons of tomato juice.
b) Place it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
c) Apply a thick layer of the mixture and then remove the pack gently by rubbing.
d) Wash with cool water. This removes rough and dead skin cells.
10. Almond
Almonds are rich in skin-nourishing properties and one of the best home remedies for a skin issue. They keep the skin tone healthy and glowing.
a) Massage the affected areas with warm almond oil for about 5 minutes daily before going to bed. You should notice the improvement in few days.
b) Alternatively, mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of coarsely powdered almonds with a little yogurt to make a thick paste.
c) Apply it on the dark knees and elbows. Allow it to dry, then with wet fingers rub in circular motions.
d) Wash it off with cold water. Do this once or twice daily for a few weeks.
