1. The Barker Family.
Kate “Ma” Barker was the mother of several criminals who ran the Barker gang. Her family is said to be involved in murder, kidnapping and many other serious crimes. She was known to travel with her sons during their criminal carrier to avoid suspicion from the authorities. She was shot to death by the FBI during a raid in 1935.
2. The Duggars.
The Duggars live in Tontitown, Arkansas, near Springdale. This weird family had their own reality show on TV which focused on their personal life as baptists and frequently discussed values of purity, modesty, and faith in God. The Duggars avoid birth control saying they have decided to allow God to determine the number of children they have. All of the children are homeschooled, and access to entertainment such as movies and television is limited.
3. The Granny-Grandson Family.
This one takes the cake of all weird families. This reunion between grandmother and grandson Pearl Carter and Phil Bailey took an unexpected turn when they fell in love and started a romantic relationship. Things got more weird when they decided to have a surrogate baby.
