Actors don’t always love the roles they play. There is always that one hated movie which they starred in. Here are a few of those much-regretted films.
1. Margot Robbie. Suicide Squad.
Margot Robbie is a talented Australian actress who starred in movies like Legend of Tarzan and Wolf Of Wallstreet. The only reason she hated working in Suicide Squad was wearing skimpy clothes in the harsh winter. She tried convincing the directors to let her wear more clothes but they refused.
2. Daniel Radcliffe. Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince.
Let’s admit it for once. Whenever we hear the name Daniel Radcliffe we automatically think about Harry Potter and this is exactly why Daniel hated doing this film. He felt like he was only recognised for his work as Harry and it irked him.
3. Robert Pattinson. The Twilight Saga.
Robert Pattinson was THE heart-throb during the height of the Twilight Saga franchise. He shot to fame with this role but not all actors love what they portray on screen. Robert even shared his opinion on Edward. “the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy… Plus he’s a 108-year-old virgin so he’s obviously got some issues there”.
4. George Clooney. Batman & Robin.
George Clooney has starred in many iconic movies but Batman And Robin was such a disaster that George himself apologised to his fans and Adman West for it. The movie was hated so much by fans and critics that it took 8 years for another Batman movie to come out.
5. Hally Berry. Catwoman.
Hally Berry is an incredibly talented actress best known for her portrayal of Storm in X-Men. Her portrayal of Catwoman however, was not well received by either fans or the critics. She was even awarded the Golden Raspberry for Worst Actress Award which she even showed up to receive.
6. The Late Carrie Fisher. Star Wars.
Would you believe us when we tell you that the late actress Carrie Fisher who played the iconic role of Princess Leia in Star Wars absolutely hated doing the movie? When asked if she would have still done the movie if she knew it would get so famous, she said “I would never have done it. All I did when I was really famous was wait for it to end.”
7. Jim Carrey. Kickass 2.
Jim has starred in many comedy and family-friendly movies but Kickass 2 was something else. After wrapping up the movie, he tweeted that he cannot, in good conscience support a movie with this much violence.
8. Channing Tatum. GI Joe.
This is how Channing feels about GI Joe: “Look I’ll be honest. I fucking hate that movie. I hate that movie.”
9. Mark Wahlberg. The Happening.
And this is Mark’s humble opinion about this movie: “Fuck it! It is what it is. Fucking trees man, the plants. Fuck it.”
10. Josh Brolin. Jonah Hex.
Even Josh Brolin was disappointed with how Jonah Hex turned out. He was reportedly tired of re-taking shots again and again. He said that he hated the whole experience of making that film.
11. Will Smith. After Earth.
Will Smith hated his decision of starring in this movie. He called it “The most painful failure in my career”. He even took a break for a one-and-a-half year after doing this movie.
12. Sylvester Stallone. Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
When asked how he felt about doing this movie he said “If you ever want someone to confess to murder, just make him or her sit through that film. They will confess to anything after 15 minutes.”
