This is the story of two brothers Spencer and Rocky. They had been together with their owner for 10 years.
They have never spent a day apart and their greatest delight was just to be with each other always.
When the owner visited the vet after seeing Rocky unwell, he found that Rocky had developed a cancerous tumor.
It was too late for the treatment and the vet confirmed that he won’t be able to save Rocky.
When Rocky passed away, his ashes were kept above the place where the two buddies used to sleep together. But it was something else that Spencer needed.
So the pet owner decided to something which would make Spencer happy. He ordered a pillow with Rocky’s smiling face on it.
The pillow with Rocky’s smiling face on it seems to have helped heal Spencer’s broken heart. He seems much happier now.
Now Spencer doesn’t sleep alone. He always keeps that pillow with him and it looks like it comforts him a lot.
The dog owner Mr. Fisher said that he doesn’t think that Spencer will ever get over Rocky’s death but he is learning to be alone without him.
