Every new year we take a resolution to stay fit. But how many of us actually stick to it throughout the year? This woman named Marga Banaga did it for 100 days and the results are amazing.
In her Instagram feed, she posted a before and after photo to show her transformation after a hundred days. She wrote in the caption that she ate clean for a hundred days without even one single cheat day and exercised every day.
So the four important things she cut off from her regular diet was alcohol, meat, cheese, and sweets. She indulged more into a pescatarian diet, which is actually a vegetarian diet but a lot of seafood (mainly tuna and shrimp).
She has even uploaded a 20 minute YouTube video explaining about her weight loss process and diet.
She decided to go through this weight loss regime when she felt that she has reached her heaviest weight. She was not very happy about it and started getting depressed.
On the initial days of her diet, she avoided hanging out with her friends because she knew she would not be able to resist the temptation of food and alcohol. She was still learning the self-control.
The woman claimed that she did not notice any changes in the first two weeks but within a month her dresses fitted her differently and she could realize it.
Her journey to a healthy life was definitely not easy. What made it more difficult was the sudden demise of her brother on the 67th day. She was in a mourning period and did not want to maintain her diet or exercise.
She felt like stopping it then and there but she went on. On the 81st day, she realize how much her form has changed since the first day she went to the gym.
She crossed the 100-day promise. It gave her the feeling which makes her do it even today.
This woman has decided to work out harder, lift weights and push herself even further.
