The US president Donald Trump called Modi four days after he swore as the 45th president. It was his fifth call since then to a world leader. Before he called Russia, China, and Japan which states the importance of India in the foreign policy.
There were several issues like defense, terrorism and trade discussed between them. Both the president and the prime minister solved the US and India stand in the global fight against the terrorism.
“We are going to have a phenomenal future together,” he said. He praised the prime minister as “a very energetic leader” who he is looking forward to work with! “India is key and a key strategic ally,” he had said.
