Movies are the best way to blow off some steam and get into a good mood. Some movies we see are so amazing that we end up liking them too much. We get so much involved that we end up seeing there behind the scenes and what not, and gain some knowledge we shouldn’t. And when you share these facts with people no one actually believes you because people just think you’re spreading fake facts.
Below are some shocking movie facts that sound fake but are true:
Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Chris Pratt stole his Star-Lord costume from the sets! He did it for sick children in the hospital and went to meet them in the hospital in the costume.
Forrest Gump.
Did you know that Tom Hanks wasn’t paid for the movie? No, he was not being charitable, he took percentage calculations as his payment and ended up with approximately 40 million dollars!
The Dark Knight.
One of the best roles played on the screen. Heath Ledger hid away in a motel room for about six weeks for preparation of this role! He developed a dark personality and made the role an iconic one.
John Wick: Chapter 2.
Keanu performed almost all the fight scenes himself. He trained for three months and mastered Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, marksmanship, and driving.
The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring.
Would you believe that Ned Stark (Boromir in LOTR) aka Sean Bean was scared of flying? He only did it when absolutely necessary. Because of this, he used to climb them from the base of the mountain to the shooting location in the morning for two hours while his fellow cast saw him from the helicopters above.
Interstellar.
Christopher Nolan grew 500 acres of corn just for this scene of Interstellar! This corn didn’t go to waste, it was sold and made a good profit.
The Terminator.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, with his makeup of terminator on went into a restaurant in downtown L.A. to get some lunch and realized later he would be looking too weird to the normal human race there.
Star Trek.
The sound of the automatic doors opening on the U.S.S. Enterprise is a Russian train’s toilet flushing. Not something I’m proud of knowing.
Jurassic Park.
The sounds the Velociraptors make when communicating is the same sound tortoises make when having sex. I hope it was fake but just google it.
I Am Legend.
Will Smith loved his Dog from the movie so much that he wanted to actually adopt her. The Dog’s trainer though didn’t want to give away his precious prize and kept it.
Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot finished the movie and was on the way of becoming a mother. She had to come for reshoots though while she was 5 months pregnant! A green screen costume was used to hide the bump in post-production.
The Mummy.
Brendan Fraser nearly died while shooting for the movie! A scene where he was hanged was real! Rachel Weisz remembered, “He stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated.”
Iron Man.
J.A.R.V.I.S the smart AI doesn’t know anything about Iron Man. Ridiculous, right? Paul Bettany has never seen the movie and did the voiceover of the AI. He said, it was the easiest job ever and made a lot of money, then went on vacation with his wife.
