For the third time in a row spanning well over a month, the actress has been able to retain the topmost position in Hollywood Reporter’s global Social Media Climbers chart.
This is the twelfth occasion when she has retained the topmost position in the chart with a global reckoning. She has not only replaced the previous number one Dwayne Johnson, but also relegated him to the sixth spot.
Rankings on Hollywood Reporter’s Global Social Media Climbers Chart take into account the most popular entities on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. It extracts data from the global data released by MVPindex, the social media analytics company.
The criteria for ranking depend on the engagement of celebrities on their social media accounts as well as weekly addition of followers.
So in all those accounts Prinyanka Chopra has beaten every other celebrity. Priyanka Chopra worked with The Rock in Baywatch.
Priyanka Chopra’s July 7 post in which she was seen posing in a white swimsuit beside a pool, has catapulted her to the top reckoning. This particular post has got close to three million Likes.
The actress has credited the image to her husband Nick Jonas and captioned the image as “Best use of a vacation. The hubby taking pictures. Lol”.
At the second position is Bette Midler with her tweet that kind of slammed the US president Donald Trump. Her comment“Who in God’s name is writing this crap for this washed-up psycho” has got more than 150,000 likes.
Meanwhile, Stranger Things, the third season of the popular Netflix series that premiered on July 4 has catapulted many of its casts to the top league of this chart.
This includes Gaten Matarazzo in the third position, Caleb McLaughlin in the fifth position and David Harbour in the seventh position.
