4. Scaphism.
You probably didn’t know that such a disgusting form of execution ever existed. The victim of this torture would be force fed and covered in milk and honey until they got diarrhea and then laid out in the sun to be eaten alive by bugs . It was practiced in ancient Persia.
5. Sleep Paralysis.
Sleep Paralysis is a horrible phenomenon in which the person suffering from it wakes up mentally but not physically. Being aware of his surroundings he can’t move and is fixed in the position in which he slept. It takes as little as two minutes or as long as almost an hour to wake up from it.
6. Locked In Syndrome.
This horrible syndrome is the stuff of nightmares. Similar to sleep paralysis, the person suffering from this unfortunate syndrome can see and understand everything happening in the outside world but cannot communicate.
