From horse meat to smartwatches to video calling, The Simpsons have, curiously (read: eerily), always predicted what’s about to happen next. That too, decades early.
So after one of the most recent predictions of The Simpsons about Donald Trump went viral, we decided to make a list of the times this 1989 sitcom became our own personal future teller!

1. The giant mutated tomatoes!
In this 1999 episode, Homer poisons his crops with tobacco. This results in over-sized tomatoes growing in his adopted farm. This actually happened in Japan when huge tomatoes grew up around a nuclear plant!

In 1994, we came to know that the secret ingredient in Springfield Elementary schools’ food was exquisite horse meat. In 2013, we came to know we had been having it for years, which brings us to one of the craziest predictions done by The Simpsons!
3. Homer came in like a wrecking ball!
This is one of the most known predictions made by The Simpsons- when Homer, years back, guides Miley how to make an appearance on a wrecking ball.
4. The auto correct and iPhones!
The Newton which was used by The Simpsons already annoyed everyone with its auto correct issues long before it smartphones really did!
