Famous Movie Scenes That Would Be Too Deadly For You

Movie scenes often bend reality to depict events that are most favourable for their characters. Surviving car crashes, plane jumps, parachute fails etc. etc. Here are a few such deadly movie scenes that still managed to stop our hearts when we first saw them.

1. The Dark Knight – Joker’s Fall

Movie Scenes

Batman stops Joker from falling to his death by shooting him in the leg with his grappling gun to stop his fall. In reality, that would have literally popped his leg off from its socket!

3. Mad Max Fury Road – Blood Transfusion

Movie Scenes

Movie scenes seldom get life-threatening situations right for the sake of the plot. In Mad Max Fury Road which is an amazing movie by the way, there’s a scene in which Tom Hardy is forced to give his blood to Nux. Looking at how long his IV was attached, Hardy should have lost more than 60 percent of his blood! That’d be deadly for me and you of course!

3. Jurassic World – T Rex Are Too Fast To Outrun

Movie Scenes

In Jurassic World, Claire is seen to be running from a Tyrannosaurus. In reality, there is no running away from a full grown T Rex. They can run at a speed of 25 miles per hour.

No human is outrunning that!

4. Suicide Squad – Harley Quinn’s Underwater Ruse

Movie Scenes

In Suicide Squad, the crazy yet hot Harley Quinn is shown to be feigning unconsciousness after her car crashes into a lake only to stab Batman with a snarl. That snarling would actually force her to inhale more water and choke.

5. Every Depiction Of Iron Man

Movie Scenes

A sudden stop after travelling at a high speed would literally turn your brain into mush, snap your neck and do many more deadly things to your body. This is what Tony Stark does every time he makes a superhero landing. Movie scenes really love messing up physics.

6. The Shawshank Redemption – Escape From Prison

Movie Scenes

At the end of this wonderful movie, Andy Dufresne escapes from prison by crawling through a sewage pipe for half a mile. In reality, sewage emits a deadly gas called hydrogen sulfide which would make it impossible for Andy to come out alive at the other end of that sewage tunnel.

7. Interstellar – Gargantua

Movie Scenes

The whole expedition team would have been killed by the massive amounts of gamma radiation emitted by the black hole before they even managed to land on any planet of that system. Unless they had a special shielding against gamma radiation which was not mentioned in the movie, those movie scenes would have been too deadly for them.

8. Commando – Arnold Lands On Some Plants And Isn’t Hurt From The Fall

Movie Scenes

via

In the 1985 film Commando, Arnold jumps from a plane and lands on some vegetation seemingly unhurt. That fall should have broken his legs.

9. Wolverine – Running From A Nuclear Blast

Movie Scenes

via

Yoshida is shown to be running from a nuclear blast in order to save his life. In reality, a blast like that vapourises anyone within 1600 feet of its blast radius.

10. Dante’s Peak – Escaping From A Volcano

Movie Scenes

via

Similar to Wolverine, Dante’s Peak showed the characters of the movie escaping from the volcanic explosion via car. They really wouldn’t have survived because a volcano’s ash cloud can travel at a speed of 450 mph. Movie scenes really can’t show its protagonist being roasted to death in a volcanic cloud like that.
