If you haven’t seen it yet (Go watch it NOW!!). Game of Thrones is the most popular show since the dawn of time. Whether you’re a keen watcher (or reader!) of the series, or you’ve never even heard of it, doesn’t matter much. For those who haven’t yet seen the final episode (Take notice of spoilers, though!) Because the game of thrones lessons are worth knowing!

Check out these Game of Thrones Lessons you must learn.

  1. Be loyal – and even if not, be honest about it

If you’ve been watching the show carefully, you know that lately, we learned Jorah betraying his queen, Daenerys, by spying on her and revealing her plans to her enemies. And the two of them had been virtually attached to the hip for years. Major party foul. Daenerys sent a crying Jorah away in shame.

Of all the game of thrones lessons, This teaches us two things: be loyal to those you care about, and when you haven’t been loyal, fess up. Explain and apologize: Treat others the way you want to be treated (especially if they are in possession of three terrifying dragons).

  1. Who runs the world? Girls

She may look like a modest flower fairy, but odds are she could gut you like a fish. Our GoT girl stars know how to bind an extensive punch and prove that the fantasy action genre isn’t totally male-centric. The women in Game of Thrones are the magnificent personification of grit, strength and the art of overthrowing the patriarchal order. Game of thrones lessons show the reality 😀

  1. Weddings are stressful. For everyone!

Weddings are a minefield of family politics. And on no occasion more so than in Game of Thrones, where (spoiler alert) Season 3’s explosive “Red Wedding” carried new meaning to the phrase “till death us do part.” Discussions about seating plans and the height of the floral arrangements don’t seem that important when mass massacre and brutal slaughter are part of the Order of Service. Still, at least they had nice weather for it.
