Why? All because Keanu refused to come back for Speed 2. 20th Century Fox had even offered him $12 million to do the movie but he didn’t budge. Fox ended up banning Keanu for 14 years from their production house. Needless to say, Speed 2 without Keanu Reeves was a complete disaster. Fox ended up settling their differences with Keanu in 2008 and offered him a role in the sci-fi movie The Day The Earth Stood Still.

On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Keanu had let it slip that he had developed a crush on Sandra Bullock while working on the sets of Speed in 1994. Even Sandra herself has talked about her romantic feelings for Keanu in the past. These two should be together!
