Others labeled the doll as ‘horrifying’, ‘tragic’ and even ‘an abomination’, while some ‘couldn’t stop laughing’.
The Belle Doll was weirdly even compared to Barack Obama and,
bizarrely, Lord Farquaad from the Shrek movie franchise.
The doll did appear to be more like a beast i.e ugly in the start and the hard work didn’t turn out well. But a little bit of love and affection and a lot more hard work did turn it into beauty.
I’d say the artist told his own “Beauty and the Beast” story in the process of creating the doll.
Hats off! Now, this is what we call creativity when it comes to promoting films!
Beauty and the Beast hits the screen on March 17.
Be their guest.
