The first episode of Game Of Thrones has already been released and it’s almost time for the second one to release. But there are plenty of fan theories to know and examine before all the craziness begin. There are already so many spoilers and leaks that we don’t have an answer to. Some are obvious ones, like who will sit on the Iron Throne at the end of Season 7, but others are a little more obscure. Will Jon Snow and Daenerys create a union of Ice and Fire? Is Sansa going to end up with Little Finger? We can obviously wait for it but waiting isn’t fun! After all, what will Game Of Thrones fandom be without some insane fan theories?

So I’ve put together a list of some fan theories that we’ve got heading into Game Of Thrones season 7, along with a few bizarre ones!

1.We can see Casterly Rock

Casterly Rock sits on the western coast of Westeros and is built into a large rock formation. Is Daenerys about to send the Unsullied to lay waste to the Lannister stronghold or is Grey Worm just hanging out by some random, Lannister-unaffiliated rock wall?

2.Jon Snow is Azor Ahai, or The Prince Who Was Promised or the Warrior of Light

All signs till now prove that Jon Snow is the Azor Ahai. Melisandre’s prophecy states that Azor Ahai will be reborn in smoke and salt and will have the blood of the dragon. All the times when she looked into the fire for Azor, she always saw things that can be done with snow and obviously that can’t be just a coincidence. Moreover, Jon also picked his Night’s Watch duty over his lady love (Ygritte), which ties into Nissa Nissa prophecy and the original Azor Ahai.

3.Ser Davos could be the Prince Who Was Promised

Ser Davos is linked to Melisandre throughout the show, and during the Battle of the Blackwater, he was reborn in smoke and salt when pulled from the water. His presence could also explain why Melisandre assumed it was Stannis for five seasons before he was killed by Brienne. We can give it a thought!

4.Cersei can become the Mad Queen

If Cersei becomes the mad queen in Game Of Thrones season 7 according to the fan theories, this is going to be a real problem. It’s no secret that Cersei isn’t the most pragmatic ruler that Westeros has ever had, but her recent actions show she’s only interested in doing what she wants when she wants. We saw she was holding on for so long because of her children but now that they’re all dead she doesn’t have anything except Jamie. Cersei is alone, vindictive and sitting on the Iron Throne. She has enemies in all directions and still got a ton of wildfire in the basement. We can say that Cersei’s reign of terror has only just begun.

5.We can get another Targaryen- Tyrion Lannister

Oh yes! We can have another Targaryen other than Jon Snow and the mother of Dragon. It comes from the theory that mad King Aerys Targaryen had an affair with Tywin Lannister’s wife, Joanna, the mother of Tyrion. This also explains why Tywin hated him so much. And as we saw Tywin saying “you’re no son of mine” just before Tyrion shoots him with an arrow. Maybe this could just be the hatred of Tywin towards Tyrion and that’s what we saw in the first 4 season.

Also now we see a strong bond between Daenerys and Tyrion. A lot to know about them in season 7!

6.Bran will bring the White Walkers to Westeros

Bran had one job but he failed in doing that! He can bring up the white walkers to Westeros not by breaking down the wall, but by taking away its magic. Remember in The Door how Bran was marked by the Night King, therefore allowing the White Walkers access beyond any magical barrier he hid behind? Well, there’s a giant magical barrier between Bran and Westeros (The Wall), and sooner or later he’s going to need to cross it.

Moreover, the white walkers don’t need to break the wall as Bran’s going to leave the door unlocked for them.
