I asked this person outright, they said that they were 80% sure that they wanted to go out with me but that she needed to make a decision. After some subtle hints that indicated I wanted an answer to the original question, she told me a year later that she had never had romantic feelings towards me. Fantastic.

5. Well, charming isn’t enough these days. You gotta be super smart!
I was on vacation visiting my cousins and crushing MAJORLY on one of his friends. It’s one of those “tight-knit group” situations, so I’d seen her 3-4 times before the night in question. I’m more than a couple of drinks in, and I’ve decided to put my best game on display. I’m chatting her up, thinking I’m brilliant and suave and captivating as fuck.
Until she says “could you take a few steps back please?” It was brutal and honest and amazing, but it hurt my pride.

6. SO WHAT IF HE’S SHORT!
Being stood up, because I am short.
The girl gave me her number, we worked in the same building so we would talk occasionally. Agreed to go out on a date, 50min after we were supposed to meet up I get a text saying “I can’t go on a date with a short guy”. I am sure Karma is getting her by now, but it’s just disgusting how some women choose to act.
